FAQ

You can continue to use your normal products, such as styling gels, conditioners, mousses, etc. Or, better yet, heat protecting products specially formulated for blow outs and straightening. However, never use your straightener if you have applied a hair relaxer, as it could severely damage your hair.
With a classic straightener, no. After shampooing, condition as needed. Use a hair dryer until almost completely dry.
With the Wet & Dry straightener, you can style both dry or damp hair.
Always start with the hair underneath: work first from the base, moving on to the sides and finishing in the front.
Avoid choppy motions whilst styling; straighten each section once, in one smooth, continuous movement. Repeat as necessary.
After following the instructions in the user manual for starting the appliance, make sure that your electrical socket is working by plugging another appliance. If it still does not work, do not try to dismantle or repair the appliance yourself, instead, take it to an approved repair centre
Do not use your appliance. To avoid any danger, have it replaced by an approved repair centre.
A Class I appliance must be earthed (and has only one insulation layer). A Class II appliance does not necessarily have to be earthed because it has two distinct and independent insulation layers.
• Short or layered hairstyle, or thin and fragile hair: straightener with narrow or normal plates.
• Long hair (below the shoulders): wide plates facilitate and accelerate the straightening process.
• Thick, unruly hair, hard to straighten or unruly hair: professional straighteners with black plates.
They are mostly aimed at women with hair that is hard to straighten, curly, frizzy or very long. They are time saving and yield excellent results.
• Fine, fragile or damaged hair: 80 to 150°C.
• Normal, fine or soft hair: 150 to 170°C.
• Frizzy, wavy or very frizzy hair: 170 to 190°C.
• African-type or kinky hair: 190 to 230°C.
Certain models have an automatically adjusting temperature system based on hair type and health.
Lissima lets you straighten long, medium-long and layered hair, as well as short bobs.
This system allows the plates to adapt to the hair's thickness and to remain in constant contact, for more efficient straightening.
It allows for automatic adjustment to the optimal temperature, based on hair type (wavy, frizzy, etc.) and hair health (healthy, weak, etc.) to protect it.
This type of coating naturally protects hair from the effects of heat, making it shinier.
