SEMI-DEFINITIVE HAIR REMOVAL FOR SMOOTHER SKIN
Instant Soft Compact is a semi-definitive hair removal machine featuring Intense Pulsed Light hair removal technology. Its concentrated light beam and exclusive spacing roll provide visible results, for long-lasting, uniform hair removal at the first session*. Featuring four replaceable, interchangeable lamps in different colors, it is perfect for sharing between family and friends and ideal for long-term use. With five distinct intensity levels adapted to various skin tones, it provides maximum safety thanks to a UV filter and skin-color and skin-contact detectors.
The armpit is a delicate area to remove hair from, because its skin is thin and sensitive (it is common to see red spots in the area after hair removal) and not very accessible to the epilator head. Although it might be easy to guide the epilator on the leg surface, on the armpit it is much more difficult because this is a concave spot and it is sometimes necessary to press the epilator head against the skin for it to be effective.
In the figures below, we show the appropriate movements to achieve armpit hair removal without any inconvenience.
Please remember that the "sensitive areas" accessory which clips on to the epilator head should be used when removing hair from the armpits.
You should undergo treatment every two weeks for four to six sessions (two to three months), then once a month for two to four sessions (depending on regrowth). Maintenance sessions may then be necessary, based on hair distribution, until hair is completely gone.
After following the instructions in the user manual for starting the appliance, make sure that your electrical socket is working by plugging another appliance. If it still does not work, do not try to dismantle or repair the appliance yourself, instead, take it to an approved repair centre
A Class I appliance must be earthed (and has only one insulation layer). A Class II appliance does not necessarily have to be earthed because it has two distinct and independent insulation layers.
It is better to avoid sun exposure and sea bathing immediately after epilating, because the skin is sensitised. And if you are planning to epilate, the same advice applies, do not expose yourself before, so as not to have a too sensitive skin.
Long-lasting results are achieved after 12 to 18 months, according to the level of hair distribution. Touch-up treatments are sometimes necessary over time.
Our appliances are equipped with multiple safety mechanisms: skin colour detector, contact detector, UV filter for eyes, etc. They have been tested under dermatological supervision and comply with the strictest safety regulations.
Do not expose yourself to the sun, UV light or use self-tanner throughout the treatment. Your skin should not be exposed to direct sunlight without protection for more than 15 minutes, or more than an hour in the shade. Protect yourself with a sunscreen with SPF 30 throughout the entire treatment and for at least two months thereafter.
Skin must be free of damage (no eczema, psoriasis, vitiligo, etc.) and must not have been exposed to sun or UV light for at least four weeks before treatment. It must be free of self-tanner.
